first_imgAn aerial view of a bus following an accidentCNN.A bus carrying a JUCO football team got into a severe accident in North Carolina on Saturday.The JUCO team was traveling from Rock Hill, South Carolina to play University of God’s Chosen in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The bus hit an overpass bridge on the Highway 74 bypass and crashed.The accident tragically left four people dead and 42 people injured.From CNN:Initial reports said the team was from the Ramah Jucco Academy in Rock Hill, but the Highway Patrol said the majority of the passengers were from Clinton College, also in Rock Hill. The patrol said it was unclear if they played for an off-campus football team.The four deceased have been identified as: the driver, 43-year-old Brian Andre Kirkpatrick of Chester; Clinton College students Devonte Gibson, 21, of Rock Hill and Tito Hamilton, 19, of Pahokee, Fla; and Darice Lamont Hicks Jr., 8, of Rock Hill.last_img
