DEIGNAN STORMS TO PODIUM FINISH IN GIRO d’ITALIA

first_imgDONEGAL’S Philip Deignan claimed a place on the podium of the 18th stage of the Giro d’Italia.The Letterkenny cyclist, part of Team Sky, powered his way to third place on the  171km stage from Belluno to Rifugio Panarotto.He came in behind Colombian duo of Julian Arredondo and Fabio Duarte, 37 seconds behind the stage winner.
