Investor snaps up coastal cottage for $450,000

first_imgThe home at 177 Oxley Ave, Woody Point.A Woody Point home within strolling distance to the ocean has sold to local investors.The property at 177 Oxley Ave sold for $450,000 on May 26. Marketing agent Andrew Reibelt of RealWay Property consultants Redcliffe said more than 35 people inspected the three-bedroom home on a 607sq m corner block. “It was a home that was in a great position to the water and one of the rare cottage colonial homes in Woody Point, so the interest was no surprise,” he said. Mr Reibelt said the new owners were local investors who own several other properties in the area. “They were pretty happy — they have some long-term plans for the property,” he said.
